Adama Steel Factory is one of the leading and well-known steel manufacturers and suppliers in Ethiopia, with a strong reputation for delivering Quality of Service (QoS) over time. The company holds a significant market share in the supply of steel products such as galvanized ribbed sheets, color-coated profiles, corrugated sheets, nails, and other wire products.

Led by a visionary General Director and supported by more than 25 highly qualified senior managers, the company’s operations are effectively managed with rich expertise and proven leadership. Today, Adama Steel Factory employs over 1,000 workers, including contract staff, contributing greatly to industrial growth and job creation.

The company’s main production plant is located on nearly 200,000 m² of land in Adama, just 100 km from the capital, Addis Ababa, while its Main Office is strategically located in Bole, Olympia, Addis Ababa. With its first major expansion projects now completed, the factory proudly operates Re-bar and Wire Rod Mills, a Color Coating Line, Tube Production Lines, and a Pre-engineered Steel Fabrication Workshop.

Aspiring to become the largest steel producer in Ethiopia and East Africa, Adama Steel Factory has also embarked on its second grand expansion project on a 280,000 m² site in the Kality area of Addis Ababa. This bold step reflects its vision of diversifying steel production by integrating both backward and forward into the supply chain of the metal manufacturing sector.
